Job Description

The Head of Commercial Partnerships & Sports Sponsorships will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and operational execution of commercial partnership initiatives within the sports sponsorship landscape. This role requires building and nurturing high-impact relationships with key stakeholders, strategic negotiation, partnership development, and sponsorship activation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for commercial partnerships and sports sponsorships
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partnership opportunities
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with sponsors
  • Oversee the activation of sponsorships with marketing and communications teams
  • Analyze partnership performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations
  • Mentor and lead a team of partnership managers
  • Prepare and present reports to executive leadership on performance and risks

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in commercial partnerships or sponsorships
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating high-value sponsorship deals
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic marketing principles and the sports sponsorship landscape
