Job Description
The Head of Commercial Partnerships & Sports Sponsorships will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and operational execution of commercial partnership initiatives within the sports sponsorship landscape. This role requires building and nurturing high-impact relationships with key stakeholders, strategic negotiation, partnership development, and sponsorship activation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for commercial partnerships and sports sponsorships
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partnership opportunities
- Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with sponsors
- Oversee the activation of sponsorships with marketing and communications teams
- Analyze partnership performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations
- Mentor and lead a team of partnership managers
- Prepare and present reports to executive leadership on performance and risks
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in commercial partnerships or sponsorships
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating high-value sponsorship deals
- Extensive knowledge of strategic marketing principles and the sports sponsorship landscape
