Job Description
Wood is currently seeking a Risk Manager to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement model risk management program and validation protocol
- Lead project risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning
- Maintain and update the project risk registers and ensure alignment with Company’s Capital Investment System (MCIS)
- Facilitate risk workshops and integrate risk insights into project decision-making
- Ensure consistency and transparency in risk governance and controls
- Provide risk reporting to executive management
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor risk management teams and consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in project controls, risk management, or mining project execution
