Occupational Health Specialist - IMETA
Job Description
Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for an Occupational Health Specialist IMETA. This role will be responsible to lead and manage Occupational Health (OH), and safety programs across the IMETA region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global standards. Drive preventive health initiatives, wellness programs, and digital health solutions to promote employee well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the Occupational Health program and initiatives
- Collaborate with global EHS, HR, and cross-functional teams for awareness campaigns
- Enhance OH & Safety maturity through delivery of targeted training programs
- Monitor and report key OH & Safety metrics
- Ensure compliance with OH and safety regulations by conducting audits
- Provide guidance during health crises
- Design and implement wellness campaigns including mental health support
- Stay updated on EHS legislations and ISO standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in environmental, Health and Safety, Pharmaceutics, Environmental Studies, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in EHS or OH or medical practicing
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of EHS and OH requirements and regulations
- Experience in managing behavior-based safety programs
- International experience and multi-cultural sensitivity is an advantage
