Commercial Manager – Egypt
Job Description
Trella is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead and grow our Domestic and Dry Bulk business verticals in Egypt. This role owns the full commercial strategy, execution, and profitability of both verticals - from driving shipper growth and lane expansion to ensuring healthy marketplace dynamics between demand and supply.
Responsibilities
- Own Net Revenue (NR), Take Rate (TR%), and Contribution Margin 2 (CM2) performance
- Define and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual Gross Bookings (GB) and margin targets
- Lead commercial relationships with key shippers in FMCG, industrials, and construction materials
- Negotiate contracts, annual rate cards, and incentive structures
- Define go-to-market and growth strategies for both verticals
- Partner with the Operations and Supply teams to ensure load fulfillment and cost control
- Lead the commercial team including development and performance management
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or B2B commercial management
- Proven experience managing P&L or large commercial portfolios
- Fluency in Arabic and English
