Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that all storage, corridors, and service areas are maintained to hotel standards. Duties include cleaning rugs, hallways, and restrooms, as well as managing linen supplies and stocking guest floor closets.
Responsibilities
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner and carpet shampoo machine
- Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms
- Washes walls and ceiling, moves furniture and turns mattresses
- Receives linen supplies from laundry and stocks linen closets
- Collect trash, soiled linen and other items
- Transports clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms
- Refills par stock of guest amenities and supplies
- Assists housekeeping with placing extra beds and roll-aways
- Reports missing / found articles or damage to supervisor
