Job Description
L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is looking for a Design Lead for Electrical (AC) in the Solar business unit. The Lead is responsible for complete design and detailed engineering for Solar Power plants (Mini Grid, Mega watt scales, and roof top). This involves reviewing technical deliverables, managing a team of engineers and draftsmen, and coordinating with clients and site teams to ensure project delivery within budget and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Review of detail drawings and Design (Sizing Calculations) for Equipment
- Submission of design document and drawings to client for approval
- Maintaining Document Control Index (DCI) for Document Tracking
- Coordination with Site Team and Client
- Checking BOQ and material with respect to previous projects
- Vendor interactions and technical evaluation
- Provide Input to team for preparation of schemes
- Lead a team of Design Engineers and draftsman
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering/EEE or M.Tech (Electrical Engineering Specializations)
- 7-10 years experience in Design and Detailing in Power Plant
