Buyer - Fashion
Job Description
As a Buyer in the Fashion department, you will be responsible for building and managing a strong, trend-led, and commercially profitable assortment within the Fashion category. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, margin, and inventory performance by identifying market opportunities, sourcing the right brands and products, and ensuring competitive pricing. The Buyer will work closely with brand partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver a compelling customer offering aligned with noon’s growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the buying strategy for assigned fashion categories in line with business objectives
- Identify and onboard new brands and suppliers to strengthen assortment and drive category growth
- Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market insights to make informed buying decisions
- Manage seasonal assortment planning, product selection, pricing, and margin targets
- Negotiate commercial terms, including cost prices, rebates, marketing contributions, and payment terms
- Monitor inventory levels, sell-through rates, and stock aging to optimize availability and minimize markdowns
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches
- Track competitor activity and pricing to maintain strong market positioning
- Forecast demand and plan purchases to meet revenue and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Merchandising, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in buying or category management, preferably within Fashion or e-commerce
