Civil Engineer/Technical Inspector; Saudi National
Job Description
SOCOTEC ARABIA is currently seeking a skilled and driven Civil Engineer to join our Technical Inspection team. This role focuses on site supervision, design and documentation review, and coordination of high-profile compliance and inspection projects across the Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil works related to technical inspection tasks
- Review design drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation
- Support senior engineers in quality inspections, quantity take-offs, and compliance checks
- Attend site meetings and contribute to progress reports
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
- Perform civil engineering tasks as required by project leads and management
- Participate in relevant training sessions and workshops
- Work across different project locations in the Kingdom as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within IDI projects
- Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
- Saudi National
