Job Description
The IT team at Tide is a small, high-impact group of around 20 people. As Head of Workplace Technology, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and service desk colleagues. The focus is on enabling the business through reliable, secure access to a wide range of SaaS platforms, while continuously improving how services are delivered as the organisation scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and service desk colleagues.
- Define and deliver a cloud-native, SaaS-first workplace technology strategy.
- Embed Zero Trust security principles across workplace technology.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into reliable IT services.
- Own and manage the IT budget.
- Establish KPIs and analyse team performance data for optimization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and managing enterprise engineering platforms.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a technology-led organisation, ideally in fintech or regulated financial services.
- Strong technical background with deep experience in cloud-native environments and SaaS platforms.
- Practical experience with modern IT operating models, including configuration as code, automation, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
