Barista
Job Description
Located in the heart of the Uptown Design District, Ernest Coffee is the go-to spot for locals and travelers seeking the perfect pour. We proudly serve Stumptown Coffee Roasters and take pride in our craft, our community, and our historic location. We are looking for a Barista who is obsessed with quality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely loves connecting with people.
Responsibilities
- Dialing in espresso and crafting a full menu of specialty drinks
- Welcoming every guest with warmth and sharing coffee knowledge
- Efficiently ringing up orders and managing cash/cards
- Maintaining a spotless bar and seating area
- Restocking pastries and supplies
- Working collaboratively with a tight-knit team
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop is highly preferred
- Familiarity with manual espresso machines and milk steaming techniques is a huge plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic
