Events & Activations Manager
Job Description
The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and flawlessly executing a wide range of IC Markets’ global marketing events, sponsorship activations, industry expos, and education initiatives. The role requires tight integration with our global sports sponsorships (F1-HAAS, UFC, WTT, etc.), on-ground and digital campaigns, and client loyalty programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the annual event calendar aligned with the global marketing strategy
- Plan, organize, and execute IC Markets’ presence at global expos, industry conferences, sponsorship activations, trading education seminars, and client roadshows
- Lead end-to-end logistics including venue booking, production, staffing, and vendor coordination
- Leverage global sponsorship assets (e.g., F1-HAAS, UFC, WTT) for on-ground and digital activations
- Coordinate meet-and-greets, branded zones, merchandise distribution, and VIP client experiences
- Work with marketing and partnerships teams to translate sponsorship assets into tiered client and IB loyalty gifts
- Plan and execute client and IB retention programs tied to events and sponsorship perks
- Coordinate online and offline contests, raffles, and promotions
- Own event budgets, ensuring cost control and ROI tracking
- Provide post-event reports, KPIs, lead outcomes, and recommendations
- Liaise closely with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Manage external vendors, production agencies, talent coordinators, and activation partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in event management, preferably in financial services, fintech, or sports/brand sponsorships
