Lead Industrial Engineer
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer to drive process improvement in manufacturing facilities. This role involves analyzing complex production systems and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize production layouts and workflows.
- Conduct time and motion studies and value stream mapping.
- Lead a team of engineers and provide mentorship.
- Develop performance metrics and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams.
- Manage capital expenditure justifications.
- Oversee equipment selection and new product introductions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering.
- At least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
- Professional certifications (P.Eng., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
- Proficiency in simulation software and SPC.
