Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will explore and develop new sales channels to grow volume and expand distribution, specifically within the luxury chocolate industry. Responsibilities include building strategic partnerships with government agencies, the private sector, and key buyers. You will prepare comprehensive commercial proposals, report on performance indicators and market analysis, and work alongside the CEO on development projects. This role also involves monitoring competitor activities, preparing analytical reports, and leading growth initiatives to enhance brand positioning through effective relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Explore and develop new sales channels to grow sales volume and expand distribution
- Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, the private sector, and major buyers
- Prepare integrated commercial proposals for executive management
- Submit periodic reports including sales KPIs and market analysis
- Work with the CEO on development projects
- Monitor competitor activities systematically and prepare analytical reports
- Lead business development initiatives in line with growth goals
- Enhance brand position through effective relationship management
Qualifications
- Practical experience in business development or sales, preferably in food or luxury consumer goods
- Proven ability to penetrate new markets and achieve measurable growth
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in preparing professional commercial proposals and executive reports
- Experience in market analysis and competitor studies
- Ability to collaborate with senior management and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for goals
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office
