Job Description
The AI UX Engineer is responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for AI-powered products within the Data & AI Lab at Commercial Bank of Qatar. This includes Agentic AI solutions, AI-enabled platforms, and intelligent interfaces embedded within banking applications. The role bridges design and development by creating rapid prototypes, interactive mockups, and production-ready code for cross-platform deployment. You will work closely with AI Product Owners, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists to translate model outputs into intuitive, adaptive interfaces that enhance banking operations and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and create interactive mockups and prototypes for Agentic AI solutions
- Build production-ready applications ensuring responsiveness and accessibility
- Integrate AI services and APIs into user interfaces
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain a design system
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to translate AI outputs into meaningful visualizations
- Participate in user research and usability testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design or Front-End Development
- Proven track record of delivering user interfaces for complex applications
- UX certification (Nielsen Norman, Google UX) preferred
