ICITAP Counterterrorism Finance Advisor - Algeria
Job Description
Amentum is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the ICITAP Algeria Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT)/ Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Instructor. This role involves conducting CFT/AML trainings and providing expert analysis on shortcomings and capacity building opportunities in Algeria. The purpose is to develop Algeria-specific strategies to promote sustainable change in combating transnational crime and terror. This is an Independent Contractor position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design comprehensive CTF training curriculum and specialized instructional programs focused on U.S Best Practices
- Customize instructional materials to align with the host nation's specific legal frameworks and regional security threats
- Conduct instruction through English, using interpreters
- Collaborate with ICITAP program staff for logistics and administrative requirements
- Employ diverse teaching methodologies such as lectures, interactive breakout sessions, and tabletop simulations
- Produce comprehensive After-Action Reports (AARs) evaluating student performance and documenting challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of law enforcement and/or counter terrorism experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance
- Knowledge of Algerian criminal law (desired)
- Excellent understanding of laws, judicial procedures, regulations, rules, and guidelines related to crime and evidence (desired)
