Job Description

The HR Specialist provides human resources and payroll support for a government program - ensuring compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and contractual requirements. This role supports the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced environment and works closely with employees, managers, and program leadership to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain, verify, and audit personnel records
  • Assist with timekeeping, payroll processing support, and benefits administration
  • Triage payroll-related issues and Resolve inquiries
  • Collaborate with program leadership on employee engagement initiatives
  • Track and document HR actions within government and internal HR systems

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of employee/candidate engagement experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and records management
