E-Commerce Developer
Job Description
Senior E-commerce Developer role at NAVO in Dubai. NAVO is strengthening and rebuilding its e-commerce platform to support the next stage of growth. We are looking for a senior e-commerce developer who will take full ownership of our website platform and lead its improvement, performance, and future readiness.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage NAVO’s e-commerce platform
- Improve website speed, stability, and uptime
- Fix backend issues and eliminate crashes
- Clean and simplify product upload and admin workflows
- Reduce plugin dependency and technical debt
- Improve server setup, caching, security, and backups
- Build internal tools for admin and operations teams
- Prepare the platform for future upgrades and integrations
- Lead technical execution with agencies on new features (AR, 3D, ERP, etc.)
- Maintain system documentation and technical standards
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Ecommerce platforms (backend-focused)
- Good backend development knowledge (Laravel, Node, Django, or similar)
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of caching, CDN, and performance optimization
- Comfortable with server management and deployments
