Tax & Legal Services - Corporate Tax - Associate (Beirut)
Job Description
As a Tax Associate at PwC, you will contribute to tax compliance and advisory engagements, assist in preparing corporate tax returns and calculations, payroll and social security calculations, and value-added tax. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic tax environment. You are expected to have technical tax expertise and hands-on experience in Lebanese corporate tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and review of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and VAT returns
- Assist in delivering tax advisory services and conducting technical research
- Prepare technical tax memos, reports, and supporting documentation
- Support responses to tax authority queries, audits, and assessments
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a professional services environment (audit, tax, advisory)
- Strong accounting skills and ability to interpret financial statements
- Good understanding of Lebanese corporate tax compliance processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, tax computations)
- Ability to use AI-based tools for research and drafting
