Job Description

Raffles Al Areen Palace in Bahrain is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a GCC Sales Manager. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the GCC market. Identify and prospect new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns. Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Communicate hotel image to customers. Report on industry trends. Maintain accurate information on leads and accounts. Establish and sign contracts considering rate policy. Handle escalations responsively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the GCC region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Ensure revenues and cost controls are maximized through proactive actions
  • Maintain a calendar allowing to meet all deadlines and planned sales trips
  • Maintain accurate information on all new and on-going leads
  • Establishes and sign contracts considering the official Rate Policy
  • Handle responsively any escalations relating to the concerned client

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong network of contacts within the GCC region
