Job Description: Cashier Supervisor Location: Qatar Department: Store Operations / Cash Office Industry: Retail / Hypermarket Role Overview We are looking for a responsible and experienced Cashier Supervisor to manage the cashier team, oversee daily cash operations, and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service at the checkout counters. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and manage the cashier team to ensure smooth daily operations. - Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, and reconciliation processes. - Ensure accuracy in billing, cash drawer balancing, and reporting discrepancies. - Train and guide cashiers on company procedures, customer service, and efficiency. - Handle escalated customer queries or issues at the cash counter. - Maintain cash handling compliance with company policies and audit requirements. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review. - Assist in scheduling cashier shifts and monitoring performance. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures. - Leadership and team management skills. - High attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience - High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 3–5 years of experience as a cashier or supervisor in a hypermarket/retail environment. - Previous experience supervising a team is mandatory.
