Project Financial Controller
Job Description
Lead the financial operations of our industrial manufacturing company. Ensure sound financial management, strategic decision support, and strong governance. Critical focus on financial stewardship of a major plant construction project, including Capex oversight, cash flow management, and commercial readiness. Perform core financial functions (budgeting, forecasting, reporting). Oversight of capital expenditure. Structure project financing with treasury teams. Design and implement financial systems. Deliver actionable insights to senior management and the board. Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage core financial functions: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure robust internal controls and corporate governance compliance
- Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) for a major construction project
- Manage project cash flows and working capital requirements
- Structure project financing with treasury and financial institutions
- Design and implement financial systems for real-time visibility
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams
- Deliver financial insights to senior management and the board
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA)
- 8–10+ years of progressive experience in finance in manufacturing
