SR. TALENT ACQUISITION OFFICER
Job Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Officer supports the University of Sharjah's recruitment strategy by sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding talent. The role provides guidance to colleges and departments in meeting recruitment needs.
Responsibilities
- Review Talent Requisition Forms for completeness and approvals
- Draft and prepare job vacancy announcements
- Source candidates through online and internal channels
- Evaluate CVs and qualifications against job requirements
- Conduct phone screening interviews
- Manage interview schedules and prepare employment offers
- Coordinate security clearance and visa processes
- Enter hire data into HR ERP systems
Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant discipline
- 5 years of UAE experience in similar role, preferably in higher education
- Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) is a plus
- Priority to UAE Nationals
