Executive Director
Job Description
The Executive Director will serve as the driving force behind the organization’s strategic vision and operational excellence, providing visionary leadership to foster community engagement while ensuring financial sustainability. This role demands a forward-thinking and results-oriented leader responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that enhance the organization’s presence in the community and drive innovative programming.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the organization’s strategic and operational plans
- Manage the budget process and ensure fiscal responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day operations and program quality
- Establish and nurture partnerships to enhance visibility
- Lead and mentor staff
- Monitor organizational performance metrics and report to the board
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Arts, Culture, or a related field; Master’s preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in cultural, community, or nonprofit management
