Job Description
Wood is currently seeking a Principal Contracts, METSO Contract to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of the METSO equipment supply package.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the METSO vendor contract from award through execution
- Review contract deliverables, variations, and claims
- Ensure alignment of commercial terms with project and client requirements
- Interface between vendor, engineering, and client teams
- Support audits and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Law
- 10+ years in contract management on EPC/EPCM projects
- Experience with OEM / equipment supply contracts (preferably METSO or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contract forms
