Bid & Estimation Manager
Job Description
This is a pivotal role for a professional who thrives on the intersection of technical risk assessment, financial precision, and competitive strategy within the Catering and Support Services industry. You will lead the research of bid components, negotiate terms, and ensure proposals are innovative and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Identify and review bid opportunities aligning with growth objectives
- Develop winning bidding strategies
- Perform project cost estimations and lead annual budgeting exercises
- Write and compile comprehensive bid packages
- Oversee the entire bidding lifecycle
- Conduct commercial risk assessments
- Liaise with procurement to negotiate terms with vendors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations
Qualifications
- 7 to 9+ years of proven experience as a Bid Manager or Writer
- Catering industry experience is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or Economics
- Deep familiarity with Saudi Arabian procurement laws and the catering services landscape
- Exceptional negotiation and analytical thinking skills
