Project Specialist
Job Description
Egypt is pursuing a major shift toward a sustainable and innovative knowledge driven economy. UNDP and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are partnering to build enablers including access to talent, technology transfer, access to finance, and enabling governance. UNDP requires a Project Specialist who can provide technical leadership in design, research, innovation, and ecosystem development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the application of systems thinking and strategic innovation
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to the Ministry (MoHESR)
- Oversee commercialization of scientifically based technologies
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder engagement with ministries, HEIs, and industry
- Lead and coordinate qualitative and mixed-methods research initiatives
- Ensure strategic management of the project and day-to-day technical support
Qualifications
- Master's Degree with 5 years experience or Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
- Experience in innovation, strategic design, R&D, or entrepreneurship ecosystem development
