Assistant Head of Senior School
Job Description
m2r Education are partnering with a leading British International School in Al Khobar who are seeking an Assistant Headteacher for the Senior School. As the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Head Teacher in driving high standards, promoting excellent teaching and learning and fostering a positive, inclusive pastoral culture. The role will include a reduced teaching commitment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s vision
- Promote high-quality teaching through coaching and mentoring
- Oversee the development of effective assessment systems
- Analyse whole-school performance data
- Lead or support the pastoral team
- Promote high standards of behaviour and attendance
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the school
- Assist with safeguarding and health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree + PGCE/QTS from a UK institution
- At least 5 years of relevant middle leadership or senior leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience within a Senior School setting in the Middle East
- Experience with the English National Curriculum
