Associate Professor of Epidemiology
Job Description
Alfaisal University College of Medicine invites applications for a senior academic role to support the expansion of research programs, MPH, and PhD tracks. We seek a scholar with a record of research excellence in epidemiologic methods, chronic disease, or digital health surveillance.
Responsibilities
- Teach epidemiology and public health at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Lead research projects and national collaborations
- Supervise MSc, MPH, and PhD theses
- Mentor junior faculty and postdoctoral researchers
- Conduct independent high-impact research
- Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation
Qualifications
- PhD in Epidemiology or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of academic experience post-PhD
- Strong publication record in Q1 journals
- Proficiency in software like R, STATA, SAS, or Python
