Job Description
Overview: **This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP** Under the general direction of the Operations Supervisor and/or Property Supply Supervisor, the Property Supply Specialist Sr. is responsible for coordinating government property issues and receipts. Maintains accuracy in hand receipts for Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Operations and the Service Desk/Production Control (SDPC) sections.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates to ensure a 100% accountability of Government Property and Material
- Verifies inventory by comparing physical counts and investigates discrepancies
- Receives and counts stock items and records data using Maximo
- Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner
- Performs periodic and monthly inventories
- Assists/leads in palletizing and sorting of parts for turn in to DRMO
- Recommends disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock
- Drive trucks to pick up incoming stock or deliver parts
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English
- Must be able to obtain CAC eligibility
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Host Country Driver's License is required
- Three (3) years of Property Supply Specialist experience
