Job Description
JASARA PMC is excited to announce an opportunity for a Testing & Commissioning Manager - Rail to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on overseeing the testing and commissioning processes for rail projects, ensuring that all systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for rail systems
- Lead the planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, signaling, and control systems
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to ensure efficient handover of systems
- Conduct inspections, tests, and assessments to validate system performance against specifications
- Prepare detailed project reports on testing and commissioning outcomes
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding testing and commissioning-related matters
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to commissioning activities
- Mentor and guide testing and commissioning teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 20 years of experience in testing and commissioning
- 10 years within the rail sector or similar infrastructure projects
- Professional certifications related to project management or commissioning are an asset
