Material Supply Technician
Job Description
The Material Supply Technician is responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining the flow of materials, supplies, and equipment in support of base operations. This role requires expertise in inventory control, business operations, and logistics management to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient supply chain processes in a high-tempo operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment
- Coordinate logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and transportation
- Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures
- Support business operations by analyzing supply needs and preparing reports
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
- Monitor and maintain compliance with DoD supply regulations
- Train and mentor junior supply personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and business operations
- Knowledge of DoD regulations, base operations, and logistics protocols
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
