Job Description
The Section Manager is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards of offered goods to attract customers in order to achieve the set sales targets. The role holder is also responsible for exceptional customer service delivery within the section.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report competitor activities
- Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers
- Oversee the establishment of a competitive assortment offer
- Support comparative studies within section
- Ensure proper conservation, utilization and profitability of department assets
- Ensure proper stock management
- Enforce safety, health and security rules
Qualifications
- 2+ years in Bakery & Pastry and +1+year of experience in operational retail
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant university
- Good experience in training people for new recipes
- Good awareness on quality and hygiene standards
- Good Communication skills and detailed oriented
