Job Description
Swift’s API Enablement Division within the Payment Services organization is responsible for the entire lifecycle of an API, treating it as a product with developers as the primary customer base. This role involves supporting and spearheading the development of new features, improving existing ones and ensuring the overall functionality of the API offerings with special focus on harmonization and standardization.
Responsibilities
- Define API strategy and Roadmap in alignment with strategic business goals
- Managing the full API lifecycle from ideation and design to development, launch and maintenance
- Ensure a consistent Developer experience by overseeing comprehensive documentation and sandbox environments
- Collaborate with Cross Functional teams to help translate high level business objectives into actionable technical requirements
- Monitor and analyze key matrices such as uptime, latency, error rates and adoption data
- Alignment with internal security policies and governance to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in API product management, technology product development
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors
