Job Description
Lafarge Egypt is hiring a Country Tax Senior Specialist for end-to-end preparation and submission of tax returns. This role ensures compliance with local laws and provides tax advice to support financial decisions.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of indirect and direct tax returns
- Preparation of all clarification and analytical reports required for tax inspection
- Liaising with tax inspectors
- Liaising with the Tax Authority in tax laws updates
- Support in the evaluation and selection of alternative actions to optimize tax burden
- Assist in the preparation of tax reports required by the Group Tax reporting team
- Maintaining internal controls documentation
- Analyze CAPEX tax implications
- Responsible for all external audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Accounting or Commerce
- Fluent English
- Excellent MS Office, especially Word & Excel
- SAP ERP knowledge is an advantage
- 3-5 years of experience in the same field
