Video Editor (Remote from Netherlands)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join a dynamic creative team, responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, compelling stories that resonate with professional audiences. In this role, you will shape narrative arcs, define pacing, and deliver finished videos that balance clarity, credibility, and visual appeal. You will work on a mix of high-polish brand projects, fast-turnaround growth videos, and social content.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling narratives, managing pacing, structure, and emotional impact
- Deliver locked cuts for animation integration, then finalize with color grading and audio mixing
- Produce social media cutdowns and alternate formats
- Collaborate with producers, animators, and marketing teams
- Maintain organized project files with clear naming and version control
- Uphold a consistent, professional visual style
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in technology or software-focused companies
- Strong narrative instincts with a portfolio demonstrating storytelling through editing
- Expertise in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of After Effects for basic compositing and cleanup
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in English at CEFR Level C2
