Specialty Business Unit Director
Job Description
As a Specialty Business Unit Director at GSK, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. You will be responsible for defining the Business Unit strategy for the specialty business, ensuring execution of brand plans to achieve revenue goals. You will oversee new asset launches and ensure a superior patient and customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Define Business Unit strategy and ensure execution of brand/account plans.
* Lead and coach a cross-functional team (marketing, sales, medical, access).
* Responsible for P&L and financial planning (units, sales, expenses).
* Oversee new asset launches and launch acceleration.
* Develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
* Establish account management capabilities and drive value-based key account management.
* Maintain relationships with key customers, KOLs, and scientific societies.
* Monitor KPIs and competitor activities.
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree (preferably pharmaceutical science).
* 12 years of Commercial experience, including sales and marketing.
* Specialty care experience and launch experience are mandatory requirements.
* Experience managing P&L.
* Leadership experience managing change.
