Job Description

The Procurement Lead will be responsible for setting up and driving a global procurement function for a lean, fast-paced organisation with offices across multiple regions. This role will serve as the central point of contact for senior leadership, ensuring a unified procurement approach that supports efficiency and cost optimisation across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with organisational objectives across multiple offices.
  • Establish and standardise procurement processes from the ground up, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Act as the central point of contact for senior leadership, driving a centralised procurement function and best practices.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee key indirect spend categories, including professional services, recruitment, travel, IT, and related operational costs.
  • Drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements through strategic sourcing, vendor management, and benchmarking.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8-10 years in procurement, with proven ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Strong expertise in procurement processes and contract management
  • Exposure to multiple indirect spend categories (professional services, recruitment, travel, IT)
  • Ability to conceptualise and implement procurement frameworks from scratch
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
