Technical Engineer (Tender & Estimation Support)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to support the Tendering and Estimation Department. The role involves reviewing tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to identify risks, discrepancies, and missing items. The Technical Engineer will work closely with the Estimation team to ensure accurate, complete, and competitive project pricing. MAC, established in 2001, is a leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia specializing in turnkey projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze tender documents, contract conditions, and technical specifications
- Support the estimation process with technical clarifications and constructability feedback
- Prepare technical queries, exclusions, and risk registers
- Study and verify construction drawings to identify scope gaps
- Coordinate with internal departments for technical compliance
- Use Auto CAD to review and interpret drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural)
- Experience in tender review and estimation support preferred
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
