Early Career Trainee- Logistics
Job Description
The Early Career Training is a program and it is an investment in young talents where GE trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE business. The traineeship will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Trainee should be eager to learn Logistics & Supply Chain from colleagues and work with all internal-stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Receipt of request for Budgetary Logistics Costs from Tendering Department
- Preparation and dispatch of RFQ’s to GSA approved logistics service providers
- Maintain the tendering costs register
- Preparation of RFI for collection of all required data from Stakeholders
- Support Logistics Specialist and update Logistics Master Tracking Smart
- Support Logistics Specialist in handling preparing Export, Courier shipments
- Preparing Customs Duty Payment and uploading request on MYPAYMENT Tool
- Participate in internal project review meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in Electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent qualification
