Instructional Designer
Job Description
Airbnb is looking for an Instructional Designer to join the Global Operations Training team. You will focus on developing functional & practical training content to support curriculum across Community Support, AirCover, and Trust teams. This includes content in both new hire curriculum and in response to adapting to organizational changes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials using a variety of delivery methods
- Conduct needs assessments collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Apply learning science, cognitive psychology, and instructional design models
- Test and troubleshoot content for LMS compliance
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an instructional designer or developer in a business context
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Native or advanced fluency in English
