Ensuring the availability of high-quality medical products at optimal cost and maintaining strong supplier relations to support operational excellence for a company specializing in medical supplies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement cycle for medical consumables.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers for quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Track vendor performance and source alternatives.
- Approve purchase orders and supply agreements.
- Prepare procurement reports for management.
- Collaborate with finance for budget alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the medical or healthcare sector.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement reporting tools.
- Understanding of ISO standards and asset management systems.
