Senior Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a senior project engineer to join a major offshore project team in Qatar. This is an office-based role, with an initial contract running until 2031. The successful candidate will provide engineering leadership and project management for process and facilities platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead project engineering and management for offshore platforms and facilities
- Prepare and implement project execution plans
- Support project planning, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration
- Coordinate teams of engineers to review deliverables
- Participate in the preparation of scope of work and tender packages
- Monitor performance and quality of work by contractors
- Manage project interfaces between contractors and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and associates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from a recognised university
- Minimum twelve years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of large-scale EPIC projects
