Principal Estimating Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for the development of project estimates ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy. Supports the management of the contract or project estimating norms and the preparation of project estimate documentation. identifies areas of best practice and drives continuous improvement within the Estimating team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and issue Basis of Estimate
- Facilitate internal review of project cost estimates
- Liaise with engineering and procurement functions
- Mentor and develop estimating personnel
Qualifications
- University degree in engineering discipline
- Experience within energy and power projects
- Experience of Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC project estimating
- Experience in preparing CAPEX, OPEX, and ABEX
