Offshore Inspection Specialist
Job Description
Main focal point offshore responsible for the coordination of all inspection activities. Ensures plant and equipment is certified in accordance with codes of practice, strategies, and legislation.
Responsibilities
- Control and co-ordinate offshore inspection activities
- Compile and issue work packs for inspections
- Undertake offshore inspections and supervise third parties
- Update inspection databases (ACET) and maintenance systems (SAP/Maximo)
- Assess defects and providing remedial recommendations
Qualifications
- API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector and API 570 Piping Inspection
- ASNT Level 2 in UT, MPI, LPT, & RT
- NACE / BGAS Painting & Coating Certification
- CSWIP / AWS Welding Inspector Certification
- Offshore Survival Training
- Minimum 10 years in the field of plant and equipment inspection
