Chief Operating Officer
Job Description
Leading bank setting up a digital vertical in Saudi Arabia. Design and lead a scalable, digitally enabled operating environment. Senior leadership role responsible for building and overseeing company’s full operational setup. Manage customer operations, service delivery, and support functions. Focus on automation and AI tools to improve customer experience while maintaining strong controls. Design operating model for onboarding, servicing, and payments. Ensure alignment with SAMA regulatory standards. Partner with Technology, Product, Risk, and Compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable operating model for customer operations
- Establish operational teams across customer care and processing
- Embed advanced AI-enabled service solutions for customer satisfaction
- Ensure alignment with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulatory standards
- Partner with Technology, Product, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Develop service frameworks, SLAs, and performance metrics
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data and automation
Qualifications
- 12+ years of leadership experience within banking, digital banking, or fintech
- Demonstrated success in building operations in a regulated environment
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree advantageous)
