Job Description
Amentum is hiring an IT Technician to support Operations and Maintenance services for the U.S. Department of State in Baghdad. The role includes maintaining operational networks, help desk support, user account management, and troubleshooting IT equipment like PCs and printers.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Operational Network at Iraq locations
- Maintain and operate the meal card system and associated hardware
- Provide help desk support to staff and subcontractors
- Coordinate new user account creation and maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (routers, switches)
- Perform computer imaging and deployment
- Assist users with hardware and software configuration
- Troubleshoot and repair PCs, printers, and scanners
- Provide local client support to business applications like Maximo
Qualifications
- Two (2) years’ experience as a LAN Systems administrator
- CompTIA A+ (Plus) Certification
- Possess US Government security clearance or MRPT eligibility
- Satisfactory English proficiency
