IoT Data Engineer

Canonical's engineering team is developing telemetry and connectivity solutions. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team to design high-performance service APIs and architect scalable cloud-based SaaS solutions using Python and Golang. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and architect high-performance service APIs using Python and Golang. * Develop governance, auditing, and management systems within a telemetry platform. * Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of new features. * Provide technical oversight and code reviews. **What we are looking for in you:** * Design and architect scalable backend services and REST APIs. * Expertise in cybersecurity principles for IoT environments. * Expertise in designing and optimizing systems using IAM models and encryption. * Experience with data streaming technologies (MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or STEM.
