Job Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle of the retail business, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with UAE regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting cycle (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor daily sales reports and reconcile POS data
- Track inventory movements and cost analysis
- Prepare and file VAT returns as per FTA regulations
- Manage cash flow and supplier payments
- Support internal and external audits
- Supervise junior accountants
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG
