Technical Raw Materials Purchasing Specialist
Job Description
Mad Parfumeur is a fast-growing fragrance company combining creativity, innovation, and technical excellence. We are currently looking for a Technical Raw Materials Purchasing Specialist to join our team and support our procurement operations with a strong technical and analytical perspective.
Responsibilities
- Manage the purchasing process of technical and chemical raw materials
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with local and international suppliers
- Negotiate prices, lead times, payment terms, and contracts
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production plans and stock levels
- Monitor market trends and alternative raw material options
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Quality, and Planning teams
- Ensure purchased materials comply with technical specifications
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical raw materials purchasing
- Strong knowledge of chemical raw materials and technical specifications
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience working with ERP and procurement systems
- Good understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluent in English
