LOGCAP – Air Traffic Controller (USN) - Kuwait
Job Description
Seeking a full-time Air Traffic Controller in support of LOGCAP V. The Air Traffic Controller provides for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic in the assigned airspace or airport and assists aircraft in distress or emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, post, and relay flight data information, clearances, and messages
- Issue arrival and departure instructions and aviation weather information
- Monitor the flight progress of aircraft and ensure separation
- Issue instructions for movement area traffic (aircraft, vehicles, pedestrians)
- Coordinate with other controllers, facilities, and agencies
- Assist aircraft in emergency or distress situations
- Perform operator-level equipment checks
- Disseminate supplemental weather observations
Qualifications
- Must be a USN with a SECRET security clearance
- Must be FAA certified Air Traffic Controller with at least 4 or more years’ experience
- Graduate of a US military air traffic control school or FAA Academy
- Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) certificate
- FAA Control Tower Operator Certificate of CTO Certificate of Grades
- Must maintain a valid passport and driver's license from home country
